Pemimpin PPBM ajak Zarina Anjoulie, Fathia Latiff ‘check-in’ hotel

Changing The Government Was The HARD PART …

Malaysia Day came and went but there were 3 highly insightful articles about our country, and where we are headed. Incisive but will the powers that be  listen? We do not seem to value being progressive or competitive. Sad because we have so many resources. Is it a mindset thing… well, obviously. Is it because our make-up is different from other countries … well, yes and there are challenges which are unique to us as a country, but certainly not so difficult as to impede our progress as a nation. The hardest part is over ….. come on people!!!

Do read the articles by David Wu, Zaid Ibrahim and Lim Kit Siang … and somehow hope someone is listening.

Malaysia Today – A Reality Check

Long read but this post, essentially a comparison with China, is based on facts, true stories and personal observations.

In 1989, my late father and his two brothers visited their father’s birthplace in a small village just outside the city of Taishan in China. Traveling to China then was not a straightforward matter unlike today due to restrictions imposed by the Malaysian authorities. That was only 30 years ago.

To obtain approval from the authorities for travel to China, my father had to provide proof of correspondence with existing relatives there, among other things. I believe he had to show at least three years of correspondence for the application to be considered. He finally managed to obtain the approval and the rest, as they say, is history. China was just about to open up then, if I’m not mistaken.

My fifth uncle, a renowned and pioneer Malayan surgeon, traveled with my father and their eldest brother. He related a story to me not too long ago about a conversation he had with a Special Branch senior officer over a game of golf years ago. In it, the SB chap mentioned how the authorities were relaxing the requirements for ethnic Chinese Malaysians to visit China. One of the reasons was so that they can see for themselves how bad things were in China and with that experience would perhaps learn to appreciate Malaysia more. We were a rising Asian tiger then and China was, well, poor. That conversation took place just 20+ years ago.

By the time my father and his siblings visited China, we already had Proton cars and were well on our way towards Vision 2020 – the target date to transform Malaysia into a developed nation. China was still mired in poverty and Tiananmen Square happened.

I dated a Singaporean girl who eventually became my wife in the early 90s and during our early courtship, I travelled with her family to Hainan island to visit their relatives there. Their kampung was poor and relied on overseas family members for financial help to repair their homes or build toilets. We were there incidentally for a wedding too and I vividly remember a goat that was tied to a tree. The goat eventually became part of the dinner on the wedding night. I also recall a cousin who was about to leave the village for greener pastures in Beijing. He was going to train to be a stockbroker then. I do sometimes wonder if he’s a wealthy man today. Who knows?

I relocated to Singapore soon after my daughter was born. I remember the early Pei Du Mamas (study mothers) who were given special resident passes to accompany their bright children who were selected to study there by the Singapore government. To make ends meet, these aunties would find work, mostly in massage parlours. They couldn’t speak any English, were rather uncouth and having underarm hair was the prevalent fashion for them then. They were looked down upon.

That was only around 20 years ago.

Meantime, Malaysia was still scaling new heights for herself. By then, not only were we making cars, we were home to the world’s third longest bridge and the tallest buildings in the world. Today, the Penang bridge doesn’t even count in the world’s top 30 ranking (ironically dominated by Chinese bridges) and the twin towers have long been dwarfed.

Ironically, Proton is also now 49% owned by the Chinese, who coming from having no car industry to speak of then are now making some nifty ones of their own today, one of which I rode in recently in China but can’t even place the name of the make. A very swish SUV it was too, complete with all the fine trimmings that wouldn’t be out of place in a continental model.

Look at China today.

In a little more than 20 years, it has gone into orbit and at a pace that is truly frightening. Corruption is tackled with an iron will and it won’t be long before the much derided ‘Made in China’ labels morph into ‘Made by China’. Well, you only have to look at Huawei to get an idea.

When I was in Beijing for the first time recently, I was completely taken aback by its unbelievable development. Mind you, Beijing is an old city therefore the immaculate state of the city today is nothing to be scoffed at, more so given the size of the behemoth that it is. Clean, organised, and surprisingly quiet for a giant metropolis given their wide usage of electric vehicles. I had expected mayhem and bustle, instead I found pristine when I arrived, I kid you not.

Three years ago, when I cycled in the southeast of China, I was already in awe of their seemingly insatiable appetite for construction. Imagine travelling between say, Alor Setar to Butterworth on the old trunk road only to find Simpang Empat, Kota Sarang Semut, Guar Chempedak, Gurun, Bakar Arang filled with new high rise apartment blocks. That’s probably the best way to describe what I saw as I rode past pockets of little towns there.

The Chinese presence globally was also felt during my cycle around the world. They are just about everywhere, building roads, railways and other infrastructure for other countries. It’s quite scary, to be perfectly honest, and there is not a shred of doubt left in my mind that we are looking at the next colonial master, albeit in the economic sense rather than military, if she wasn’t one already.

Now look at where Malaysia is today.

25-30 years ago, we were up there. As mentioned above, we even wanted the ethnic Chinese Malaysians to go visit China so that they can see for themselves how terrible things were then. 25-30 years ago, we still spoke English. The Chinese didn’t. Today, the Chinese are making great efforts to speak more English while our own proficiency has taken a dive. Even the lady at the airport’s taxi stand in Beijing spoke English. Not perfect, but more than passable. Give then a few more years and I shudder to think. Who knows, French or Spanish next?

I met my 10 month old Chinese grand nephew in Taishan recently. The age gap between him and his elder sister is 10 years. I jokingly asked my nephew and his wife why have a child again after so long and was stumped by the answer. The family has a new member simply because the Chinese government changed the one child policy to a two child policy. Well, I suppose if you’re gonna conquer the world, you might as well have more people to serve that purpose.

So while the Chinese and other SEA nations are forging ahead (it already cost RM1400 to buy 10000 baht today), we are stuck in the same old same old unproductive narrative of race and religion. While others are seeking real knowledge we look for more religious education. While others are familiarising themselves with new languages, we want to reintroduce khat on a national level yet can’t even decide if it’s art, compulsory, optional or not.

Let’s not even talk about innovation and technology.

Sorry, but we can’t even yet look at every citizen as Malaysian today, at least in good spirit. All we seem to be really good at today is politics. And speculating who’s the next Prime Minister after electing a 92 year old who incidentally was at the helm during those glorious years. How sad is that?

We still hear of the Chinese being told to go back to China. Really? Be careful what one wishes for. But REALLY, how truly sad is that?

And with the directive from the religious authorities that Muslims may no longer hold joint prayers with folks of other faiths, any notion left that we are a moderate Muslim country went right out the window. Heck, we can’t even get being a moderate Muslim nation right.

How sad is that?

Forget China, we will never get to where they are today nor where they will be in the foreseeable future, but at least keep up with our neighbours. Countries that we used to visit because they were cheap have already overtaken us and we are still singing ‘Setia’ and watching corporate sponsored feel good festivity videos about how we once were?

Sure, those videos are nice, but we need to stop lying to ourselves. Our country is in dire health. Someone took less than 30 years to dominate the world yet we, being independent for 62 and up there once, are still talking about integration while actively segregating communities?

We have many Malaysians who do brilliantly abroad but the focus is invariably on their ethnicity or if female Muslim, is she wearing a headscarf. Or not. I mean, seriously?

What on earth is in the water which we drink that makes us so utterly deluded? Ridiculous, even.

I am not sure which frightens me more – that China is marching ahead at full steam and that our neighbours are leapfrogging us, or that we have fallen so far below the perch we once so proudly stood on.

Oh, and there’s that little island south of the border, lest we forget.

I love my country with all my heart, am a super proud Malaysian and loathe to criticising her but we need a reality check or we will have very little to be proud of someday apart from nasi lemak and teh tarik. As it is, we’re not even proud of the kebaya so pardon me if anyone should find this post an inconvenient truth.

“ The problem is really more serious than that.”

For the past 40 years or more the Malays have been cocooned away from the real world.

A friend who used to be Chairman of a very large Malay corporation that survived almost completely on government handout projects and concessions said that the skill sets and the work ethics inside his organisation “have nothing to do” with the real world outside.

The entire Malay ecosystem was carefully nurtured to keep them away from mixing with the real world.
Be it in business, education, social interactions, RELIGION, politics, language, sports, art and just about anything human beings do everyday.

The common theme in all these areas of “endeavour” were lower standards. Lower the bar.

For over 40 years the Malays have been dumbing down – at a time when the other non Malay communities have been making better strides and when other countries have been making giant strides.

Vietnam has announced that they will be manufacturing their own car the Vinfast.
But it is a private sector effort with no taxpayers funds involved. The CEO and top managers are  American, ex General Motors.  The Vietnamese have already displayed the car at the Paris Auto Show.

Hiring American CEOs, displaying their cars in Paris – what does that mean? The Vietnamese are seeking out the outside world and saying “We are coming to join you”.  And they are doing this without taxpayer funding – meaning it is market driven.

In Malaysia we went the other way. We wanted to develop our country ‘in our own mould’.  This was a misnomer. What it really meant was ‘We want to develop the Malays in their own mould’.

The mould had a very simple design. It was an all encompassing Malay / Muslim cocoon. No other light, sound, smells, taste and even fresh air could get into the Malay / Muslim cocoon from the outside. This has been going on for over 40 years.

The others, especially the Chinese and some Indians (not all) did not want to be part of this cocoon system.  They have been clever and more fortunate. From very early on the Chinese caught on that the national education system will be going into the cocoon mode.
Hence they invested heavily in their own education ecosystems.

They have held on tightly to the 1300 Chinese language primary schools in the country. And it has been successful.  When compared to the government’s “cocoon system” Chinese education has been much more successful in that they produce young people who can become productive citizens in the economy.

Since the beginning of time, there are only 61 Chinese language secondary schools in Malaysia (“independent” Chinese schools offering the UEC certificate). Which has always been politicised.

But there are bigger elephants than independent Chinese schools being born everyday. For example the Chinese have gone big into private schools which offer the O and A levels, etc.  They are known as “international schools”. There are now a sizeable number of these “private international schools” in Malaysia offering primary to secondary level school education.  Many of these schools are run by the Chinese folks. The majority of the students, teachers and principals at these private schools are all Chinese.  They are doing a good job, serving the country’s needs quite well.  Non-cocoon education system.

There is another huge side effect to this “Malay / Muslim cocoon”. Which is what I want to talk about today.  And that is about leadership.

Anywhere in the world, in any system of government whether a democracy, monarchy, communist dictatorship, socialist dictatorship, authoritarianism, Islamic theocracy,  Hindu monarchy etc the leaders and the leadership WILL and MUST reflect the value system of the people or the society in that country.

1. Societies that are prone to violence and do not do much to curb anger and violence will produce leaders who will rely on violence to rule. Because that is what they understand.

2. Societies that do not like to listen to different points of view (especially about religion) will produce religious charlatans who will exploit the “no thinking zone”.

3. Societies that have cocooned themselves away from the outside world or from people other than their own kind will produce leaders who will manipulate their “fears of the outside”. This is NO rocket science.

4. Societies that do not compete will produce leaders who will frighten them with the “dangers of competition”.

I can keep on going but the leaders of any society will and must reflect what goes on inside their own society.

Their leaders will and must be fully soaked to the skin and bone with that society’s norms and value systems.

Kalau value system bagus, pemimpin pun bagus.

Kalau value system tak bagus, pemimpin pun tak bagus.

They might have been born cerdik but they will never become pandai.  Cerdik is the intelligence that you are born with.  Pandai is the learning that you acquire.

In a cocooned environment, their cerdik people grow up to be ‘tidak pandai’ leaders. Because they have been denied an environment where they can compete and learn. They grew up inside a cocoon.

So can we expect 40 years of cocoon indoctrination to produce ‘world class’ ledership? Not likely.

Look at this screengrab here. Its an old Tanzanian folk tale.  There was a flood and the river overflowed. The fish were swept into the submerged grass. A group of monkeys decided to “save” the fish. They picked up the fish carefully and placed the fish on high, dry ground.

This is what we are seeing in Malay society today. After over 40 years of being cocooned and growing up in a religious and racial slum, where ALL the standards have been lowered, we are now seeing their leaders who exactly reflect the lower standards of Malay / Muslim society.

This is the nail in the coffin. After 40 years of the airtight and watertight cocoon, now they really and honestly think that the rest of the world outside the cocoon is wrong. That indeed life inside their cocoon is the best in the world.

Their religion is the best despite its violence, hate, ignorance and poverty.

Their social norms are simply the best despite very strange aberrations in behaviour and the looming breakdowns in Malay society.  (This is a very serious issue – please do not dismiss this lightly.)

They can ignore everything else (and even despise everything else) because it is outside their cocoon.

Those who do not agree ‘can leave the country’.

So you see the  miserably failing Minister of Education Maszlee saying unbelievably dumb things like the  “Chinese should watch Upin and Ipin to learn Malay”. This is too stupid to even comment about.

In Port Dickson, the Brader spoke about using his own car to send his daughter to the university.  That is all he has to offer. There is not much else going on inside his cocoon.

Rafizi kept playing up personal issues (where is your dasar / vision bro?)

By the way, can Rafizi show some audited accounts for all the money collected by Invoke? Some transparency would be good brader Rafizi.  Talk is you have some difficulty showing an audit of what happened to all that money you collected.

Asyraf Wajdi once said (I was present) that Islamic banking can still function because the Malays do not know High Court Judge Justice Abdul Wahab Patail’s ruling “against” Islamic banking.

Asyraf Wajdi has also just lost the elections. Their collective incompetence has seen UMNO being kicked out of government after 63 years.

And the religious cocoon Pis-Pus guys are kissing up to the Malay cocoon UMNO guys.  As you can see in this montage:

At our government hospitals, water is leaking into the oxygen lines in the wards.

In government departments the cafeteria is still the center of the universe – not the work desk.

Soon after being appointed, the new Mayor of Kuala Lumpur visited the hawkers (warong folks).  To show solidarity? The tikus population in Kuala Lumpur will certainly rejoice. They will continue enjoying the endless supply of food scraps thrown into the longkangs and the drains by the warong hawkers. Indonesian warong operators will also be very happy.
Government “seminars” / conferences still begin with long winded introductions,  10 am pisang goreng breaks, 12 pm lunch breaks and 3 pm curry puff breaks.

So how does the cocoon deal with these obvious failures, the obvious non performance and the increasing criticism?

Thats easy. Just shout louder, make more threats, show more anger, the so called tough language. More racist and religious posturing. Its just sad camouflage, a weak cover up for the cocoon’s failure.

I strongly and firmly believe the Malays can be turned around. In about 15 years max.

Before that can happen, we must crack that cocoon.

LIM KIT SIANG ON THE RISE OF VIETNAM (AS A WAKE UP CALL FOR MALAYSIA)

The latest news is about Vietnam climbing in the ranking of best countries in which to invest this year, surpassing other Southeast Asian nations such as Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
A recent report by the US News and World Report ranked Vietnam eighth out of 29 economies, up from 23 last year.
Neighbouring nations of Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, meanwhile, stood in 13th, 14th and 18th positions respectively.
According to the report, Doi Moi (renewal) economic policy reforms beginning in 1986 have helped Vietnam’s transition to becoming a more modern, competitive nation.
Vietnam’s continued efforts to lessen international isolation are shown by joining the World Trade Organisation (WTO) in 2007 and participation in free trade negotiations with the Trans-Pacific Partnership in 2010.
It is also a member of the United Nations, the Asean Regional Forum and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum, among other international organisations, stated the report.
The ranking of the best countries to invest in by the American media company draws from the results of a global perception-based survey and ranks countries based on the highest scores among nearly 7,000 business decision-makers.
The decision is made based on a compilation of eight equally weighted country attributes, including corruption, dynamics, economic stability, entrepreneurship, favourable tax environment, innovation, skilled labour force and technological expertise.
10-year moratorium
This news should be a wake-up call for Malaysia, and all Malaysians should be asking why it is not Malaysia, instead of Vietnam, which is topping this ranking, especially after the historic change of government in the 14th general election on May 9 last year.
Unfortunately, Malaysians have been too engrossed with race and religious issues which have been dominating the social media in recent months., with fake news and hate speech aimed at inciting racial and religious polarisation.
I would call for a 10-year moratorium on fake news and hate speech for Malaysians to concentrate on making the country a top world-class nation in the next decade.
Instead of fighting and competing with each other, Malaysians should be competing with the rest of the world to become a world-class nation in as many fields of human endeavour as possible.

My Blog Has A Proper Sponsor Now

The blog was started in 2007 and I have loathed having advertisers or sponsors for my blog. I now have a proper site sponsor because I believe in the product and have consumed it myself. I find that it mirrors the claims it expounds and is effective to treat andropause.

Blog sponsor: Andropause Succor

https://andropausesuccor.com/

THE MAKING OF ANDROPAUSE SUCCOR

We recognize that andropause was a serious issue among men above the age of 40 but not much attention has been paid to address the issue when compared to say, menopause and its remedies.

Presently, a lot of people take testosterone booster and/or artificial testosterone injections (gels and creams included), which we believe has its limitations. They attempt to address the symptoms rather than the cause. It is like taking Viagra but not addressing why poor erections happen in the first place.

We wanted a holistic remedy to andropause and would stay herbal and organic as much as possible in the formulation. The platform which we build our formulation rest on being anti-inflammatory and better heart health.

Not a week goes by that I am not asked about testosterone levels. Especially one of the following questions:

—”How can I raise my testosterone?”

—”Can supplements actually boost testosterone?”

—”How do I know if I have low testosterone?”

The questions are endless. Testosterone is a hot marketing area for men, that strikes at the core of machismo and male health. Attach testosterone to any product with some hyperbole, and you can market it effectively.

But truth be told, testosterone levels are critical for male health. Low testosterone causes:

Low energy
Low sex drive
Low strength
Anxiety, depression, and general lethargy
There are no advantages to having low testosterone. Zero. Nada. In fact, hypogonadism (which is when your body is not producing enough testosterone) is linked to:

Alzheimer’s disease
Dementia
Cardiovascular disease
Recent research even points to low testosterone being a precipitating factor for prostate cancer.

With all this in mind, it’s concerning that testosterone levels have been dropping in men worldwide for decades.

The reasons for this are legion:

Environmental endocrine disruptors, plastics, contaminants; lack of sunlight and solar radiation; lack of key micronutrients, skewed diets; lack of exercise, lack of sleep, increased stress; the list is long.

And this drop in testosterone is not only seen in humans, but animals as well. Across the world, environmental pollutants are affecting animal life and disrupting sex hormones.

The pragmatic reality is this:

Our environments and lifestyles do affect our bodies. And many men are slowly castrating themselves through their lifestyles.

Increasing your testosterone levels, and thus your general vitality, should be of paramount focus for all men.

High testosterone levels are a representation of overall good health.

You have everything to lose and nothing to gain by ignoring your hormone levels.

What Can You Expect

1-2 weeks:  Better quality erections (hardness and ability to stay up longer)
                  More energetic and positive
                  Higher libido (sex drive)
                  Heightened metabolism
                  Less irritability and mood swings
                  Better quality sleep
                  More motivated and focused

Longer Term:   Stops hair loss
                      Less visceral fats
                      Retention of muscle mass
                      Better joints strength
Reduction in bone loss and danger of having osteoporosis
                      Elevated testosterone
                      Higher sperm count
                      Less lethargy and better temperament

Tongkat Ali (extra potency)

We required Longjack (Eurycoma longifolia), a confirmed libido booster. Longjack, also known as Tongkat ali and pasak bumi, is a shrub hailing from Southeast Asia purporting to improve libido. It’s gaining traction in the scientific community for potentially increasing testosterone levels, and researchers at South Africa’s University of the Western Cape found that longjack improved testosterone levels and muscular strength in physically active seniors (a population with typically low testosterone).

The bulk of what is presently available is non-descript. Our manufacturing facility has patented a new way of extraction, using nano tech and sonification to extract up to 5x better – the process is already being patented.

What is TRT?

Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) uses artificial androgens (think synthetic steroids) to try and raise testosterone levels. As the Mayo Clinic notes, they’re still being evaluated for safety and effectiveness, but it’s an option to discuss with your doctor.

Other researchers at the National University of Malaysia have gone so far as suggesting that, after further study, longjack could be used as an alternative approach to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).

That said, a group of researchers at the National University of Malaysia did a systemic literature review of longjack, looking for clinical research that demonstrated a relationship between the shrub and testosterone levels.

Cordyceps (tung-chung-chou in Cantonese)

Animal and lab studies suggest Cordyceps have the potential to improve heart health and fight inflammation, cancer, diabetes and aging. Again, we try to come up with a formulation that does not just deal with the symptoms. For example, Viagra is used to help people who have trouble maintaining a strong erection or have trouble lasting sufficiently long enough to complete the act. That does not address why/what caused the poor erections in the first place.

We believe in raising testosterone naturally. We wanted the other complementary body functions to be revitalised as well when generating more testosterone. Hence anti-inflammation and better heart health is a platform which we stand on.

Pomegranate

Pomegranate is a potent antioxidant. This fruit is rich in flavonoids, anthocyanins, punicic acid, ellagitannins, alkaloids, fructose, sucrose, glucose, simple organic acids, and other components and has antiatherogenic, antihypertensive, and anti-inflammatory properties. Pomegranate can be used in the prevention and treatment of several types of cancer, cardiovascular disease, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and other diseases. In addition, it improves wound healing and is beneficial to the reproductive system.

Zinc

We wanted the best testosterone booster to contain Zinc — an important mineral for fertility. Zinc is little more of a nice-to-have ingredient than a must-have. It’s on our radar as an ingredient that possibly boosts testosterone levels, and while we couldn’t find enough supporting evidence that taking zinc would increase natural testosterone, low zinc levels have been connected to infertility.

A low zinc level is also possibly a sign of hypogonadism. The closest support we found is in a study which found that people recovered from nutritional deficiency-related problems more quickly if they took a zinc supplement than those who did not. Zinc is available in many foods, such as oysters, fortified breakfast cereals, and red meat.

Zinc also has an upper limit. The NIH recommends that adults should not take more than 40mg of zinc per day, and notes that even moderately high zinc intake levels can be harmful. Hence our dosage has been kept safe within the limits set.

Every vitamin, mineral, and ingredient that affects the human body can be taken in enough quantities that they are harmful, or toxic, even the ones that — at lower levels — are beneficial or necessary. Unfortunately, testosterone boosters contain a lot of ingredients that are not well understood. This means in addition to not being able to confirm whether certain ingredients increase testosterone, the scientific and medical communities also don’t know at what levels many ingredients become toxic.

Last Words

As with any supplements we are careful with the claims we make. We stopped short of saying it is an anti-aging remedy. However as you can read from the above treatise, it is very much a remedy to help us age better. Informal trials among tested subjects indicate that. We hope you will too benefit from it.

Dato Wira SM Faisal has filed for a contempt proceeding against MP YB Maria Chin on 18.9.2019 in Kuala Lumpur Syariah Court
Mainstream media reported it is Dato Wira SM Faisal who is the plaintiff for this case. In truth, there are two people acting as plaintiff
1) Datuk Wira SM Faisal SM Nasimuddin
2) Zaleha Ismail. Faisal’s lawyer, Akhberdin has removed Puan Zaleha’s “Puan Sri” to hide the fact that she is needed in this suit to strengthen their contempt case
image
This case is being heard in front of Judge Mohamed Fouzi Bin Mokhtar who is the same judge that sentence Emilia to 7 days of jail last week.
This case mention and subsequent hearings will be a conflict of interest as the same judge that handed out the 7 days jail sentence to Emilia will be the same judge to determined YB Maria contempt charge.  The judge could act bias towards YB Maria and say how dare you challenged my decision?
If indeed MP Maria Chin remarks tarnished Syariah court system as claimed, then it should be the Syariah judiciary that should file the contempt charges and not SM Faisal and Puan Sri Zaleha against YB Maria Chin.
Yesterday Faisal’s lawyers filed ex-party (one-sided) contempt charges in Syariah court in order for their case to be heard without MP Maria Chin presence to get a head start.  The outcome that Faisal wanted was for the case to proceed but the court decided it will only decide if contempt charges will proceed or not on the 14.10.2019. And the contempt charges, we repeat, will be heard in front of Judge Mohamed Fouzi Bin Mokhtar. The same judge that sentence Emilia to 7 days in jail.

Grandson of late CAP president sues Anwar’s aide for assault

Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak (left) and Tunku Nashrul Tunku Abaidah have been named in suits by the grandson of the late CAP president SM Idris.

PETALING JAYA: The grandson of late prominent consumer advocate SM Mohamed Idris has filed a suit for assault against Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak, the political secretary of Anwar Ibrahim.
Muhammed Yusoff, 26, in his action filed at the Shah Alam Sessions Court, said Farhash had inflicted injuries after punching him repeatedly without provocation at Anwar’s office in Bukit Gasing here in May.
“The violent attack was against the law and occurred at the workplace of the plaintiff,” he said in his statement of claim sighted by FMT.
Yusoff is also suing Anwar’s press secretary Tunku Nashrul Tunku Abaidah over several media statements he made on the incident.
He said Tunku Nashrul had, among others, defamed him by accusing him of having a drug addiction problem and denying that the assault took place.
FMT is trying to reach Yusoff to confirm the suit.
When contacted, Farhash and Tunku Nashrul said they have not been served with the suits.
Yusoff was appointed as Anwar’s research officer in September last year. His duties included replying letters sent to the PKR president and Port Dickson MP.
He is demanding damages so that he could undergo treatment for injuries and to compensate for the repair of his wristwatch and mobile phone.
He is also seeking exemplary damages from Farhash for “wilful and violent conduct” as well as other reliefs deemed fit by the court.
In his statement of claim, Yusoff said Farhash, 37, came to the office at about 10am on May 16 this year and scolded him for being rude to Anwar’s secretary, Shukri Saad, which he denied.
Yusoff said Farhash then pushed him against the wall while he was seated, choked him and threatened to kill him.
Yusoff said he managed to free himself, following which Farhash lunged forward and rained punches on him before throwing his mobile phone on the table.
“He pushed me to the floor and continued to attack and injure me,” Yusoff said in the statement, adding that Farhash later left the premises after threatening to kill him.
He said he sent a text message about the incident to Anwar, who told him to seek medical treatment and rest at home.
The plaintiff said the following day, Farhash came to the office and told him that he could do whatever he liked in the office and again threatened him for reporting the incident to Anwar.
Yusoff sought treatment at a private hospital in Kuala Lumpur and lodged a report against Farhash at the Petaling Jaya police station on May 26.
He said Farhash contacted him two days after the report was made but that he avoided meeting the defendant.
In his suit, Yusoff said he has not worked for Anwar since June, saying he is traumatised and emotionally disturbed as a result of the incident.
His grandfather, the late SM Idris, one of Malaysia’s most prominent consumer advocates who founded the Consumers Association of Penang, died on May 17 at the age of 93.

Farhash is well known for being hot tempered and violent when he cannot gets his way.
Tunku Nashrul is well known for being sly, liar and scammer.
Shukri Saad is well known as a con man who is forever borrowing money from those he meets and a big liar.  He has cheated so many of people that even though complaints were made to Anwar and family, nothing has been done to stop him.
I am curious why Anwar have thugs, liars and scammers working for him.
IF ANWAR CONTINUES TO HAVE SUCH EVIL BEINGS WORKING FOR HIM, I HATE TO THINK THE KIND OF CREATURE THAT WILL BE MAKE MINISTERS WHEN HE TAKES OVER THE PREMIERSHIP.
IS ANWAR GOING TO BE ANOTHER MAHATHIR WHO INSTIGATE FIGHTS AND HAVE THUGS, MURDERERS, LIARS, SCAMMERS AND CHEAT RUNNING THIS NATION.
I BELIEVE THOSE PRISONERS ANWAR HAS BEING FRIENDS WITH FOR 11 YEARS ARE BETTER HUMAN BEINGS THAN FARHASH, TUNKU NASHRUL AND SHUKRI.
DEAR ANWAR, YOUR NAME AND DIGNITY ARE COVERED WITH SHIT AND MUD BY HAVING SUCH PARIAH WITH YOU.  DO ADVICE YOUR PARIAH DOGS TO RETURN ALL THE MONEY THEY HAVE BEEN BORROWING IN YOUR NAME.

Malaysia bloated with shit

Open Letter to the Prime Minister of Malaysia

Mr Prime Minister, Sir

My apology for addressing you as Mr Prime Minister instead of My Dear Tun and what not. Please personally read and understand the plight of an ailing Malaysian Armed Forces Veteran deprived of his right by the very department established to cater for the welfare of Malaysian Armed Forces veterans.

Whether this will be my last or first of many open letter will depend on you, Mr Prime Minister and Jabatan Hal Ehwal Veteran (JHEV) ATM. If JHEV continue treating me like a beggar, this washing dirty linen in public may not end soon.

I have tried to resolve this impasse by communicating direct with JHEV but sadly those little napoleons warming the chairs at JHEV are only interested in covering one another’s mistake instead of admitting that they have erred.

Mr Prime Minister, Sir,

My name is Ali bin Abdullah and my Malaysian Armed Forces official number is 802140.
I enlisted with the Royal Malaysian Navy which was then based in Woodlands, Singapore on May 25, 1965 – during the peak period of the Malaysia-Indonesia Confrontation. After completing 13 years of compulsory service and the confrontation was well and truly over, I called a day and promised that “I will again return” if and when this beloved country of ours is again threatened.

That was my two cents worth of contribution to this country of ours.

On 14 September 2018, I had a Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) operation at Institute Jantung Negara (IJN). A day later, on 15 September 2018, while still under Intensive Care, post-ops complications, i.e. STROKE got the better of me whereby I lost the use of my left upper and lower limbs. And from then on, I become an OKU.

Prior to my discharge which was on 29 September 2018, and on doctor’s recommendation, I acquired relevant facilities such as electric hospital bed, wheelchair, quad cane and commode chair.

In February 2019, a reimbursement claim was submitted to JHEV.

A few days later JHEV called asking for supporting letter or memo from a Government doctor.

Three months later received payment less than half the amount.

When enquired the reason for not reimbursing as per claim, JHEV gave an EXCUSE that they only follow government doctor’s letter in that I am only entitled to claim manual-cranked hospital bed.

Since the government doctor’s hand written letter was in English and suspecting that JHEV personnel may not understand English I emailed a reply with brief translation highlighting the word “electric bed”.

Perhaps, realizing their mistake, JHEV came up with another EXCUSE in that for claim exceeding RM2,000 I have to submit full medical report.

August 6, 2019, a full medical report handwritten by the surgeon that operated on me was submitted to JHEV.

August 22, 2019, received a letter dispatched via POS Laju from JHEV rejecting the claim with yet another absurd EXCUSE. Instead of trying to grasp the meaning and implications of “Permanent Stroke” that was written in the medical report, JHEV opted to highlight an irrelevant phrase in the report “postoperatively, he was noted to have left limb weakness (power 3/5).”

Why is it irrelevant?

Left limb weakness (power 3/5) was an assessment done on August 6, 2019 approximately 11 (eleven) months or 325 days after the stroke and hundreds of hours of rehabilitation work-out and not on the day I was discharged from IJN, still unable to move my left upper and lower limbs that necessitates the acquisition of electric hospital bed.

I understand that one of the decision makers at JHEV is a practicing doctor. But, if the said doctor is worth his medical degree, he does not need first-hand experience to grasp the meaning of “permanent stroke” that disabled the nerve and muscle tissues causing foot drop, shoulder subluxation and winged scapula.

Mr Prime Minister, Sir

When a certain tycoon painted a negative picture of our Armed Forces, virtually the whole country was offended not less the ‘microphone throwing’ Defence Minister who made it known, quote “Tindakan pihak yang menghina Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM) disifatkan perbuatan jijik dan tidak boleh diterima sama sekali.” Tegas Menteri Pertahanan Mohamad Sabu.

Yet, when a 74 years old ailing veteran who spent thirteen years of his prime life defending the independence of this country is treated like a beggar by JHEV, and two emails were sent to the Defense Minister highlighting my plight, he chooses to adopt the three monkeys stance – buta, tuli dan bisu. Why?

Mr Prime Minister, Sir,

When I joined the navy, our British Instructor seconded from the Royal Navy instilled in us, which I still treasure dearly, that “never give up and keep fighting even after we have expended our last ammo” and hence this open letter hoping against hope that you could knock some wisdom into the brains of decision makers at JHEV, and stop giving excuses to cover their mistakes.

To err is human, but to persist in error (out of pride) is diabolical.

THIS WAS TAKEN FROM OUTSYED THE BOX.
******************************************************
LIKE MOST MINISTER CHOOSEN BY A FUCKING PRIME MINISTER WHO CANNOT SERVE THE RAKYAT BUT HIS OWN CHILDREN ONLY, THIS HAPPENS.

MAT SABU HAS NO BUSINESS TO BE A DEFENCE MINISTER.  HE IS NOT CAPABLE NEITHER DOES HE HAS THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND THAT HIS WORK REQUIRES HIM TO READ AND HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING ON HOW OUR ARMED FORCES HAVE BEEN SCREWED LEFT AND RIGHT.  SINCE 1984 TILL TODAY EVERY TOP GUNS INSIDE ARE SUCKING AND TREATING THE HELPLESS SOLDIERS AND POLICE AS PARIAH DOGS.

LONG AGO I KNOW A TOP GUN WHO HAPPENS TO BE A RELATIVE OF THE PRESENT PRIME MINISTER, HIS DRIVER HAD TO FIND YOUNG GIRLS AND BOYS AND DRUGS ALMOST DAILY FOR HIM.  WHEN THE MRS FOUND OUT, THE POOR DRIVER WAS BEATEN UP BY HIS OWN COLLEAGUE ON THE ORDER OF THE TOP GUN.  YES THE TOP GUN HAD FUN AND THE POOR DRIVER HAD TO BE BEATEN FOR IT. IF I REMEMBER CLEARLY THE DRIVER LOST THE USE OF HIS LEGS AND SOON BECAME HOMELESS IN THE STREET OF KUALA LUMPUR. AT THAT TIME HE WAS ONLY 38 YEARS OLD.

TODAY OUR MINISTERS ARE VERY GOOD FOR FUCKING WITH BOYS AND GIRLS AND MAKING THEMSELVES VERY, VERY RICH WITHIN A YEAR.

IF AN INVESTIGATION IS DONE, I AM SURE MANY PORN VIDEOS CAN BE FOUND ON THEM.

AZMIN ALI HAS A COLLECTION OF 3,000 SUCH VIDEOS INCLUDING HIMSELF AS PORN STAR.  YET NO ONE IN PDRM HAS THE COURAGE TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST AZMIN ALI.

BECAUSE OF THIS, ALL THE MINISTERS NOW THINK THEY ARE GOD.

MACC IS NOT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THE BILLIONS THAT HAS BEEN SIPHONED OFF BY THE PRESENT MINISTERS INSTEAD IS HELPING TO COVER UP EVIDENCES.

LIKE MOST MALAYSIANS I CURSE AND SWEAR AT PH GOVERNMENT DAILY.

There is no Justice with an Uncaring Prime Minister

Malaysia a nation with only 33 million population has too many obstacles for growth.
In the first place why is there a need for two laws – Federal and Syariah?
Is the Government so incapable and weak?
Why do we even have a Parliament that only serve the ruling government?
The answer comes with twisted excuses.  In Malaysia, the Government believe that if the Federal is not in their favour, then Syariah will be.  Forgetting today the Judiciary is just a rubber stamp for the ruling government with power in return money and project as incentive.
Today no one retires in high office poor.
There is no justice both in Federal and Syariah.
Many cases like stealing RM50 can lead to 6 years in jail.  A rapist can be found innocent.  A murderer not enough evidence.  A toddler death is consider as fated.  A bullied victim death is considered an accident.  When a person is accidentally killed by own colleague, an attempt to use another race as scapegoat. Majority can insult and mock the Minority but when vice verses the latter is punished. When Rakyat condemn and complaint against the wrongdoing of the authorities or leaders or Royalty, the Rakyat are punished with jail sentence but when the authorities or leaders or Royalty causes abuse, insult, injury and death, the court, AG and PDRM ignore it.  The cycle of crime is then repeated yearly.
How long do the Rakyat have to suffer to please the elite of this country?
Today I have lost respect for both the Federal and Syariah.  As an ordinary citizen I have not been able to get justice since 1994.
In 1994 my son was molested by his class teacher Nora Zam Zam of Sri Kuala Lumpur who happens to be a Malay and a woman.  The Police, MCA Michael Chong and Judge did not believe a boy can be molested. The Judge had on many occasion waited until the owner of the school to be present before proceeding the case because of his Datukship and later Tan Seri.  Title in court is looked upon like God.
In 2008 my ex husband was cheated by CIMB Fund Manager and lost all his pension money.  I reported to Bank Negara and Zeti who was the Governor then, PDRM and AG. But no action taken because the brain behind the scam was Musa Aman’s nephew.  In the same year my ex husband generously handed over a RM6 million project to his Malay contractor friend whom he trusted.
Since then my ex husband got cheated another 5 times from his titled friends who have connection.  Seeking justice through PDRM, AG and Court would have resulted in waste of time and money which we did not have.
Then in 2018 I did not get a single sen from my divorce even though I had wasted 33 years in marriage and brought up 5 children with my money.  Syariah Court has no concern or interest in women.
In the same year I wrote to the Deputy Agong to seek help to recover my years in service and to disown my pariah daughter.  Again nothing happens because I am a woman.
When my ex sister in law was mistreated by her husband, my ex husband refused to help and even discourage her from getting a divorce instead said that it was better that her husband comes homes once in a while to fuck her and take her money than being a divorcee.
Today the curse from my ex husband side is facing my pariah daughter.  She is constantly being brain washed that having a husband to fuck her daily is better than a divorce.  She is even told to have more children to hold onto an abusive controlled freak.  Since she chooses to listen to her friends and father who tells her that it is the right of the husband to control her, she has to face her karma.  I would not be surprise if she commits suicide or kill her own son in the coming days.  Even though she has a PhD it does not mean she is rational in her thinking.  When a person surround herself in extreme Islamic surrounding, a husband who is a controlled freak and a father who does not care, her life has become full of regrets and IF….
Malaysia need a Prime Minister who is just and fair.
Malaysia does not need two laws.
Abolish Syariah and Religious Department like Jakim.  Instead use the money to educate the Judges to be just and concern for spouses in abusive relationship and divorce and to use common sense instead of their ego and power to pass sentence.  Judges should also write their judgement instead of leaving it to God. Since 1984 till today there are at least 160,000 unwritten judgements that remain cold.  I am a VICTIM OF UNWRITTEN JUDGEMENT. No one cares, no one bother.
I have encountered Judges who are biased towards other races and gender but worship those with Titles.
Malaysia must have the freedom to voice our concern and to scold our leaders when they go astray.
If a country like USA with a population of 330 million can voice their concern and scold their leader and UK  with a population of 66 million can show their displeasure at the monarchy,
WHY THEN IN MALAYSIA WE ARE CHARGE WITH EVERY SECTION IN THE PENAL CODE AND MCMC WHEN WE DEFEND OURSELVES AGAINST THE ONE RACE ASSAULT.
IT IS A SHAME THAT THE PEOPLE WE VOTED TO DEVELOP THIS NATION ONLY CARE FOR THEMSELVES AND IGNORE OUR SUFFERING.  WHILE THE ROYALTY OF THIS NATION THINK THEY ARE TOO GOOD FOR US.

Second Chance given to the wrong person

Today, I am taking a walk with nonagenarian. He’s 94, and today, I want him to remember. So we will start our walk a few days before May 13th 1969 erupted. And, while people say we should never look back, it is important that at this time, we do. Otherwise, how will we ever learn. We can only learn from what is in our experience. Tengku Abdul Rahman, my beloved Prime Minister at that time, said he was the happiest Prime Minister because he marveled at how peaceful we were, a country with different races, different cultures and different religions, and with people that lived together in harmony.
Before he died, in an article entitled, “As I see it”, Tengku Abdul Rahman named the people who plotted May 13th. He named you, and said that you were part of a group of rabble rousers called Ultra Malays. As a group , aka the Ultra Malays, you Sir, together with Musa Hitam and Ghazali Shafee, were instrumental in the announcement made at Ampang Hilir, that there was going to be a coup. Then from Datuk Harun’s house, where people with hate in their hearts were assembled, a rumour began that the Chinese were killing the Malays and the rest is history. The riots began. To stop the riots and to contain the violence , Tun Razak deployed the army and people were shot in the streets. It was a dark time. To put the final nail in our beloved First Prime Minister’s coffin, you wrote the yellow letters, in which you accused Tengku of siding with the Chinese and blamed Lim Kit Siang for the riots, even though he was not even in town. Tengku’s account of this chronology had the truth in it. Three years later, he died.
Still, subsequently, as Malaysians, we moved on from this very very dark time in our country’s history, and bless our Malaysian hearts, we forgave it all. So, those of you reading this article, please understand no malice is intended by my writing it. On the contrary, this article shows that we all know what happened, but because, unlike the rest of my families that fled in fear, we stayed to serve this country, as did all of you. This is our country, Malaysia. And we are still here.
I have loved this country for 70 years now, and still do. This is my country. I cannot say it enough times. In spite of all that has happened and in spite of the fact that my family was split, post May 13th 1969, this is my country. This type of love tells the world what a glorious and forgiving and loving people, Malaysians are. We are special. True Malaysians are one family.
But we tarry. Let’s move on.
Fast forward to your appointment as Minister of Education. The slide and rot of our once excellent education system began with you. After GE 14, you Sir, wanted to come back as Education Minister and when it didn’t happen, you sent us your lackey. All he has done is set the cat among the pidgeons. But again, let’s not tarry.
We must not waste any more time on our MOE. He is ineffectual, and despite the fact that he has a winsome smile he is not going to “Khat It”. Time is now of the essence.
So, come along, dear Sir. So sorry to rush you, but there is much more you need to remember, Dr Mahathir.
Let us go back to a little more history, post riots. Once established as the blue eyed boy of UMNO, by no other than Tun Razak, the same one who ousted Tengku Abdul Rahman, one by one , you got rid of Tengku Razalie, Musa Hitam and the likes. Guess they got their just rewards. The destroyers became the destroyed. Karma is a bitch. And throughout all this time, you played the racial card.
No, Dr Mahathir, it’s not us that use race and religion to divide us. You do it so very well and provide us our daily bread with the race/ religion rhetoric. This time you’ve even gone one step better. Now you’ve allowed ZN to insult and question our birth right and our loyalties and yet, you keep him here. He even has outriders. Almost on par with you, Sir. If that’s not adding insult to injury, what is? By the way, the fact that ZN says he was misquoted, tells us that like you, ZN has taken Malaysians for fools. By your refusal to see what he is creating, you are telling us how much you care for the people who were willing to forgive your history, open our hearts and put our trust in you. Yet underlying your rhetoric, you are saying to every true Malaysian, suck it up. And so, we are stuck with the man. And yes, we continue to “suck it up”.
A couple of nights ago, I was out celebrating Merdeka. It is ironical that I still believe in the word Merdeka or the concept of it. And the people, who were with me and who still want to believe in you, say you are always one step in front of us, way ahead of our puny brains with your master plan for this country. Forgive me if I’m skeptical that this is even remotely true. Master plan or another nail in our coffins? The next few months will tell us. But move on, we must, lest you get lulled into believing there isn’t more.
We now walk through the advent of GE14 and the choices voters made. The old adages “ Better the devil you know, than the devil you don’t” and “Hobson’s choice “, were in play then, and you appeared as the saviour of my beloved land. So post election europhia, we were excited. Our country needed money. The real troupers of this land paid into a fund that was launched to Save Malaysia, so, when Lim Guan Eng came in as finance minister, he launched this fund. We all did our part to help put money back into our coffers. We ALL did. All we wanted was to drag ourselves out of the mire created by the marauders and rapists who were destroying our country. We heeded the cry to arms. We won. Or did we?
If you believe that we cared tuppence for the PH manifesto, you were mistaken. We are realists. No pie in the sky, no pipe dreams. We had our feet on the ground. Then you began removing the rug from under our feet. Each month your lackey annoyed people. Then you started letting Dumno has-beens, leap frog into your party to swell your party numbers. God, there are some real jumpers there. You could hold a leap frog race and they would win hands down. You came in on a PKR and DAP ticket, but you knew you were on shifting sand, and sought to strengthen your position. Your son got some choice offers, slick move that. And you, barely in office too.
Aiyohlah, how are you different from Jibby. It wasn’t long then, before a slide built up. Soon we saw that a new rot, smelling a lot like the old rot, had started to creep in. And then came the “piece de resistance”, a stench of things to come. And that stench, is firmly entrenched on our soil. He’s here, and it looks like he is here to stay, while we, the Indians and Chinese, bonafide Malaysian citizens, are accused of all kinds of things, of being anti Islam, racialistic and of being bigots. The dirges for DAP and PKR have started playing. A funeral soon for their demise?
Sir, we are ending our little walk now. I know you are tired. But before you leave, take a stroll around the Government offices, in Putra Jaya. How many employees are there in Government Service? Which race dominates? Visit the Universities and Hospitals and every other Public Facility. Which race dominates? And then Sir, answer this question. How much more and for how long more, do the other races have to give in?
As you are driven around the city, pray read the names of companies that are building highways, have Government projects, own the canteens in schools and government offices . Then visit the MOE and your other ministries. Which race dominates? And then ask this question again. When will Government tenders finally be transparent and opened to us, the marginalized? How much more do you’ll want , Sir, and for how long more?
It must be very tiring staying ahead of the pack at your tender age. But you are running short of time. No one is immortal. It must worry you that God may call us anytime. So while I am no God, I really believe that one day you will be asked, by God, whom we all will face , to explain why you never kept your promises to ALL your voters . ZN did not vote you in. But he’s here. We voted you in and yet we are being told, in so many ways, to go back from whence we came.
I believe also that you will be asked by God, to explain how , as the Prime Minister of this wonderful land, you took care of your “Ummah Wahida”? What will you say? You will surely be asked how much you did to mesh us all together with our Muslim brethren? You will have to answer. Did you do right by us, or did you just pit us against each other? And most importantly, what did you do to eradicate racialim and religious bigotry in this once glorious land. I think, my precious nonagenarian, you’ve got your work cut out for you. Time is not on your side. But because I’m a nice person, I will pray for you to get it right this time. Please Sir, get it right, this time. I will pray everyday for my country. God Bless us all.
